Shelley is a dedicated mental health social worker with over 10 years of experience, offering professional and compassionate support to individuals of all ages in the Port Macquarie area. As a local, Shelley is deeply committed to improving the health and wellbeing of the community, providing tailored mental health services to adults, adolescents, and children.
Shelley’s approach is person-centered and strength-based, ensuring each client feels heard, supported, and empowered in a safe, judgment-free space. With a special interest in women’s health, Shelley offers a compassionate and informed approach to addressing the unique challenges women may face in mental health. She is also deeply committed to trauma-informed care, understanding the impact of trauma on mental health and prioritising a safe, respectful, and empowering environment for her clients.

With a background in School Counselling for both Primary and High Schools, Shelley possesses an in-depth understanding of the education system and its challenges. Her experience continues to extend to working with adults, children, and families in community and non-government organisations.
In addition to direct client care, Shelley provides professional supervision for fellow social workers and those in the community services field.

She is a Credentialed Eating Disorder Clinician with the Australian and New Zealand Academy for Eating Disorders and a provider of the Cool Kids Anxiety Program and the Cool Little Kids Anxiety Prevention Program.
